With the help of common folk, Zhao Yun locates the whereabouts of Liu Bei’s wife and the prince. Lady Mi is heavily injured and cannot come with Zhao Yun. Consequently, she entrusts A Dou to Zhao Yun. However, Zhao Yun insists upon the Lady coming with him. Then she kills herself by throwing herself into a well, and leaves the prince with Zhao Yun. Now Zhao Yun has no choice but to take A Dou with him.
